FARMAC is an initiative by Themis Association that addresses a critical gap in the Lebanese legal system. Real estate investment is a pillar of the national economy, yet landlords and tenants face an average of 2 years in court for straightforward rental disputes — some lasting up to 7 years across 3 court levels.
Our center provides a structured, 4-tier alternative: mediation by certified professionals, case management by trained law graduates, arbitration by experienced lawyers, and an optional appeal handled by judges. The result is a credible, binding resolution at a fraction of the time and cost.
Officially supported by the Governor of Beirut and the Lebanese Business Council in Dubai, FARMAC is designed to restore confidence in rental markets and protect both property owners and tenants.
